Anyone try both of these and have a preference??... I have Heinie race cuts on two of my glocks and wonder if anyone prefers the Ameriglo Combat or target sights over the Heinie race cuts?

Whenever I have time on the next sunny day I will have to post pics comparing these two sights.
Heinies are great sights and I have them on three of my pistols. I do plan to stock Heinie in Q2.
As far as I can tell, there are three main differences:
1)The Ameriglo Combats are just slightly shorter than the Heinies. The rear side of the Heinies fit flush to then back of the slide, where the Ameriglo Combat rear has the same profile as the stock sights.
2)The Ameriglo Combat fronts are serrated but the rears are plain while both the Heinie front and rear are serrated. Since I often carry plain black target sights and not night sights, I find that the serrations on the Heinie rears (see above) get marred quite easily when banged around during daily carry.
3)There is more light in the stock Ameriglo Combat sight picture than in the stock Heinie sight picture. Of course, CGR's Race Cut Heinies, tuned by the estimable Matt K., open up the stock Heinie sight picture. How the Ameriglo Combat rear doesn't need this as its rear is already .200" wide and the front is thin, only .115. This gives plenty of light on the sides of the front sight blade.

I've only used the AmeriGlo Combat set, have it on two Glocks now. But it's the best notch style sight picture I've used in over 30 years. Incl compared to my Dawson fiber optic I also really like.

Look from new Ameriglo/CGR sights in the very new future. We have a few things cooked up.

I have ordered a GT-500 set for my Glock 26 (.090 front and .150 rear notch) and I'm anxious to get them.
