View Full Version : Whats a used .45 Compact worth?
I'll be selling my USP .45C soon after I get my new CCW piece to the range to verify that it feeds consistently. Budget constraints right now dictate that I can't afford to keep the USP. I will, however, be buying another USP... someday.
So what's the going rate on a V-1 with 1,000 rounds through it, and 24 months of CCW duty?
It has pretty light holster-wear (sliver edges) on the slide and the takedown/slide stop. Can't recall it ever having a stoppage.

Your 45C describes like the one I bought late last year on consignment in a gun shop I trust. Some holster wear, very little firing wear, AB date, no box, only one magazine. Paid $500, but it does have night sights in good condition. Has proven to be 100% reliable. Others tell me that is a bit under market for one with night sights, but I did have to buy more mags.
Is this the same USP you were describing in the Kahr Club forum recently?

Regarding the reliability, I don't plan on selling the USP unless/until I have a 100% reliable replacement. Heck, I had to replace my $700 H&Ks new mag springs with extra-power Wolffs to feed JHPs 100%. Nothing sperfect.
Did you have stoppages without the Wolff springs?
By the way, I have a Kahr PM9 for deep conceal as well as the USP 45C for duty and some CCW. Which do I trust the most? Which will last the longest? Which is not at all picky with JHPs? (Hint: Starts with H, not K.)
