Carfax Anyone?

Looking at another potential autox car and was wondering if anyone with a carfax account wood be good enough to run a VIN for me.

Just so you know....

Carfax is not able to get data from Insurance Companies due to privacy reasons (unless private sources allow them access).

They get their data from public sources (Police reports) for example.

Instead of Carfax, arrange for a "purchase check" so you can have the car checked out by a mechanic you trust.

Because CarFax does not get private data (unless arranged). They will not tell you about accidents that occured where no police were involved.
