View Full Version : ADJ.sight reccommendation
I have a Glock 23 that I sometimes use a Fed 357sig barrel in, and I have enough of a difference in POI that I need an adjustable sight. I would like something that works with the OEM front sight, is semi low profile, and field tough. Oh yeah, it should be cheap and not require gunsmithing!

Is it shooting low or high? By how much at what distance? One inexpensive fix would be to compensate with a different height stock rear fixed sight--Glockmeister sells a kit with all four stock rear heights, plus a plastic front, for about $11 plus shipping. Changing to the next taller rear will raise POI about 2 inches at 25 yards. Conversely, the next lower rear will drop POI by the same amount.
Most adjustables won't work with the stock front, requiring a higher sight in front.
I like my rear adjustable sight by MMC. Its low profile too. Kind of high in price but I wanted adjustablity and low profile. Its still glowing but for how long I don't know. I've read on this sight where people don't like MMC's tritium. Well hopefully It will last. I got the rear sight with bars and they don't warranty bars as long as they do dots. I looked at meprolights rear adjustable but it looked like it is high profile, not what I wanted for a my carry gun
I'm not too concerned with the night sight aspect. And, changing out fixed rears at the range dosn't sound too appealing.
I see the glock adjustable cheap---are they really as bad as people say?
