question about wilson mag follower swap

hello...quick question. i love wilson mags, but hate how they do not fit flush w/ the bottom of the frame. i dont need the slam pad. can i simply replace the followers in my colt and chip mags with the plastic wilson followers?

Wilson sells follower and spring sets for Colt and Metalform magazines. Might fit a CMC tube.

Metalform makes CMCs tubes. No idea if the swap will work.

thx for the replies. so i tried it...

the spring is a bit different, so i pulled out both the follower and spring from the wilson, and put it in both a colt 8-rd mag and a cmc shooting star mag.

everything fit fine, and so i loaded 8 rounds. i then chambered a round in my colt commander, and topped off the mag. i found that the mag wont seat with 8 rounds and 1 in the chamber.

so, long story short...i guess it doenst work with 8+1. i may buy some wilson follower and spring kits to see if they are any different.
