One of the coolest things is the 10MM CBOB!! I just sold my 45ACP version to buy the 10MM.
Triggerjerk, have you seen that 750 Sniper in person? As sorry as I am to say, that is one butt ugly gun in person!! I know they don't have to look good to shoot, but the forend is about 4" wide!! It's a CZ so I know it will be a shooter, but the model it replaced was a Gorgeous gun.
If you guys are interested in the DW stuff, and some of the other CZ stuff, I get quite a bunch of inside info. from time to time due to the fact that I see and shoot with most all the CZ-USA guys at least once a week, that, and since I'm the Moderator over at the Dan Wesson forum on the CZforum site. So if you guys have some questions that you need answered, let me know and I'll see if I can get some answers.

Sonny,
did CZ upgrade the 700 Sniper to the 750? I'm assuming that the higher number means that they made some changes to the rifle? There is a 700 rifle in a local shop...it's on consignment and the guy wants double what retail is for the rifle. Don't get me wrong...it's a rare rifle in the US, but I would also have to agree that it's not the best looking rifle I have seen.
Yeah the 750 replaced the 700. I always liked the 700, it looked good with the grey and blue laminate stock and the contour of the rifle just looked good, the new replacement just looks like an oversized hunk of plastic. Wow, twice the Retail!! holly crap, that's 4200.00!
They are pretty rare though, I was looking at getting one and it was going to cost me about 1750.00 or so, that's more then twice what I paid for my Remington PSS, and about what I paid plus Scope, mounts, and rings. They are nice rifles, just a little pricey.

Sonny,
I haven't seen the 750 in person. I kinda like the looks however.
Have you shot the 700? Are their sniper rifles as accurate as their other rifles?
tia
I have not shot the 700. I don't have lots of experience with the centerfire CZ's, but everyone I know that has one says they are as accurate as the Rimfires. Sorry I can't be of more help, I just don't have anywhere to shoot centerfire rifles anymore, that has anymore range then 25 yards, and that's not enough to judge anything by.
The 750 is a BIG gun, it looks pretty sleek in the pictures with the bipod, but it's big enough that it almost dwarfs a Remington PSS if your familiar with those. I always thought my PSS was pretty big, but the 750 is way bigger. It's not that 700 was small, but there was more contour and it just felt like it fit better when you got behind it.

I'm a big boy, I think I could handle it.
My bank account can't handle it now however.
Is it any bigger than my Savage Model 12 Varmint?
That sucker has a HUGE stock. But I love the extra heft. It's not made to be lugegd around very much, jusrt sitting around and taking shots.

Yes, I think. The stock appears to be adjustable in cheek weld and length of pull.
I also like the easily detached 5 round mag.
Whittakers is selling one for 1645 . . .
