Shot my USP today for the 2nd time. Put 150 rounds thru it (now I have 300 total), and 50 rounds thru my Glock 34. I shot the USP better. Gun works great!
Only 1 problem. I put my last 8 rounds of WWB into a mag, place the mag into the gun, and then layed it down to go mess w/ a target. Upon my return, I picked up the gun and felt something rattling. I shook the gun and then removed the mag.
For some reason, it appears that the follower got stuck in the mag, and all the rounds were rattling around loose, in all directions. I had to disassemble the mag to get teh rounds out. Two rounds were also stuck side by side, so I had to get a pen to knock em out. I then reassembled the mag. It worked fine afterwards - I assume the spring got bound or something. Shot some CCI Blazer in my other 3 mags afterwards, and had no other issues.
I placed the mag on the side, though, and contacted H&K. They are a pain to get in touch w/ someone. I called 3 times, and the operator always transfers ya to someone's voicemail. On the 3rd call, I was told that there are only 4 people who answer the phone for technical issues. About 4 hours later, I finally got a call back. I was told to mail them the mag, and then they will send me a replacement.
I've been on the phone with Beretta, Glock, S&W and Springfield. WHile ya may be on hold a while, I've never experienced that. They needa hire some more people or something.
