I have three CZ pistols (Kadet in .22lr, 85 Combat in 9mm, and 97B in .45ACP), and all have a smooth, bright alloy trigger. I wonder why CZ doesn't use a ribbed trigger for better gripping? Anyone else wondered about this? I notice at the range when my hands get sweaty, that my finger sometimes slips on the trigger. I really like the craftsmanship, quality, and accuracy of CZ, and think they are one of the most underrated autos for the money. Best Wishes! Pecos Bill out.
I've never really had a problem with the smooth triggers. I shot a buddy's kimber with a serrated trigger and I thought it was uncomfortable...especially after 100-200 rounds I'd imagine. Like so many things, it's just personal preference.

Both of my CZ100's have ribbed triggers, as you call them. I wish they were smooth. The next time I tear down either pistol, the trigger will be smooth.
Good shooting,
Mike
