I've seen a quite a few guns in magazines that something other than checkering. I found this sight (http://www.rogersprecision.com/id2.html) that puts a gulf ball pattern on the mainspring houseing and front strap. But I'm hoping to find someone who will put longer round grooves in the frame and mainspring.
I'm hoping one of you guys will know where to look;f

Chuck at Rogers Precision and Don Williams at www.theactionworks.com both do exceptional machine work. I've got guns they both worked on, including the simonich/golfball FS and MSH by Rogers, and in all cases their work has been nothing less than exceptional.

If you want something custom outside their already custom offerings, be prepared to pay for it. And wait for it as well...

But it will be worth it in the end!
