maybe looking to buy one , the chance to have a 45 acp in 13 +1 rd mag is cool and what ive been waiting for . i cant find any on gunbroker or gunsamerica . anybody own one and how much wider is the grip ?? compared to a glock 21 or g 37 ?
A friend of mine has a Kimber polymer wide body. It felt smaller than the Xd and Glock. He said the polymer wide bodies feel slimmer to him than the steel frame ones. I might be interested in picking one up in the future as well....

I'm pretty sure springfield buys the frames from Para Ordinance and then mounts thiers slides, hence the interchangability of the magazines. For what it's worth, a SA rep told me that.

It's only offered in the GI model according to their catalogs and website, which means it has the low profile sights, lower grip and none of the cool fixin's most of their other models have.
You might look at the Para ord's, their dimensions should be the same as the Springfield wide body's.
