12 Volt Man

Hey guys. My name is 12 Volt Man, and I'm a CZ-holic. Some of you folks already know me from other places in the internet gun world. Great to find that there was finally a CZ club set up. Woohoo!!! Here is an intro about me and my love for CZ's. Let's hear yours too.
My CZ-itis started with the purchase of a CZ75BD. I liked the heck out of that gun. Still do. Accurate and 100% reliable. What more do you need??? Then I found a used CZ97B for sale locally. Then I found czforum.com and joined up. I met another local CZ junkie who was starting a custom holster business. I was able to acquire and test some of the first HBE Leatherworks holsters from Eric Larsen. Very cool stuff. If you need concealment holsters for any guns, especially CZ's, www.hbeleatherworks.com is the place.
A while later I found a used P-01, again locally. This was just after they came out. Again a fantastic gun. It remains my favorite carry gun. About that time folks were toying with making Full Length guide rods for their CZ97's out of nails, hinge pins, and whatever else. I decided to make a one that would be a perfect fit. I worked with a couple different metals and finally found that stainless steel was nice. I used files and a drill in a vise as a lathe. It took hours to shape. I showed folks on the CZ forum what I had made. People kept asking me to make them, so I did. JackAsh Custom Shop was born. I was able to acquire some better tools and a lathe.
Later I figured out other guide rods that would replace the plastic ones in other CZ guns. It has been great fun. I have been busy the last several months. I have kept people waiting a lot longer than I like. I am sorry for that. I recently lost my "real" job and I am now trying to make it work as a full time gig. This means no more long waits for your stuff.
Over time my CZ collection has grown. In addition to the others mentioned, I now own a nicely customized 40P, a 9mm RAMI, CZ 527 Varmint in .223, CZ 712, and a CZ Woodcock 20 guage. Watch out they do multiply.
A year or so ago, there were some folks who were not happy with the software on CZforum.com so with help, I was able to start www.CZshooters.com. It has grown to over 1300 members in less than a year. It is picking up and is becoming a great place to discuss CZ's.
Now, there is another place to discuss CZ's. Very exciting. Glock Talk is a great forum with a diverse membership. I have read a lot of interesting discussions here on Glock Talk. Thanks for the CZ Club. Here goes another few minutes of each day wasted. LOL.
If anyone is interested, check out www.jackashcustom.com/products for all that I am offering for CZ's. I recently added some cool decals, and Mec-Gar mags for what is probably the best price on the net.
