I really want to buy a H&K P2000. I am even liquidating my knife collection to raise funds for it. Anyway, I know that there is a choice between a regulat DA/SA P2000 and a LEM version of the P2000. Can someone give me a run-down on the difference? Is the LEM similar to the Sig DAK? Has anyone shot this gun in 357 Sig? If so, how is the recoil? Any info is greatly appreciated!!!;c ;c

I am hearing and reading a lot of good information about the LEM.

The LEM & the DAK both have a long trigger pull; in comparison to a Glock USA trigger.
The DAK is a lighter pull & trigger break than the LEM.
The SK has the LEM trigger and works great.

The P2000 & the P2000SK both have the option for either LEM (Variant 1 & 2) or DA/SA (variant 3).
You will get your best info from the manufactures' web site about the LEM and yes it is somewhat like the DAK in Sigs.
I have a P2000 with the LEM trigger. I've dry-fired a DAK.
The trigger pull on the LEM is the same length as a DA/SA trigger. However, the cycling of the slide cocks the hammer spring, reducing the trigger pull. When you pull the trigger, the hammer moves back but the pull is very light because the hammer spring is cocked. Once you reach the break point, the pull on mine is about 7.5 lbs. It can be reduced to about 5 lbs. by changing some springs.
The DAK is feels closer to traditional double action. It is light and the weight of the pull is consistent throughout.
If you can't find an LEM, try a ParaOrdnance LDA.
