View Full Version : 1911 Holsters for a Hi-Power??
Since we don't have a Browning Hi-Power forum here, I thought this would be the next best thing.
I've seen some 1911 holster also list to fit the Browning Hi-Power, but what about holster that are molded to fit the 1911?
I can find good deals on 1911 holsters, but how well will my BHP fit in them? Does anyone have some insight? Thanks,

um, no. they be different animals dude. They look different and those bumps and spopts dont line up. just get a BHP holster.
I have had a BHP. nice guns. Mine was from Belgium and new. I sold it like a fool because I didnt like 9mm. and no I would never have one in 40. stupid caliber imho.

some fit fairly well, most leave a bit to be desired... the new plastics need to be form fit, some leather holsters should be fit as well, pancake and slides aren't as un forgiving as some though. some of the cloth, uncle mike's, do well for many. I have one that will fit 4" s & w L frame, 4" 45, and bhp. just adjust the velcro. this kind of holster might make you know why they invented lanyards though ??
Take your BHP along and go shop. I've got several holsters that do double duty quite well. Older Safariland Thumb break lined leather holsters...It all depends on the holster design and material.
