The Flying Beach Towel... Landing the VX-39

;P Big download but totally worth it! This guy flies and lands a 39 square foot parachute, the VX-39. Particularly amazing is the formation flying with a wingsuit. It looks like the only barrier to landing a wingsuit now is getting your feet under you.

That's about as extreme as you can get. We used to kid the skydivers at the gliderport about thier "racing" chutes. Usually ended with some broken bones and stuff.


I guess the guy in the WingSuit didn't make it?

I dropped the 82nd Airborne while at Pope AFB for 5 years. In that time I learned that only two things fall from the sky, bird poop and fools.

I went skydiving about a year ago, and they were telling us about a guy that died at the facility a few weeks before we got there. He was trying to fly a 21 square foot parachute, and didn't make it.
