on three items to add to my shotgun build. To date I have:

870 Express
two shell extesion by Scattergun Tech
Knoxx Spec Ops stock
18" Mossberg replacement barrel
Tru Glo fiber optic front sight

I'm looking for suggestions on:

fore arm - with or without light?

oversize replacement safety button- I'm not sure what will and won't work with the Knoxx

extra shell holder - either a side saddle or the new Knoxx power pack that fits on the Spec Ops.

Let me know what you think.

Wilson should have your oversized safety, I have one on my 870 and LOVE it.

Absolutely go with the Surefire foreend WITH light. I hate the cost, but there is no other way to effectively hold a light while pumping rounds. It is a great add-on and I'm sure you'll love it.

Check out pics of mine under "New 870 porn" in this forum.

Send your barrel to Vang Comp and have Hans perform his magic on it. It makes a cylinder bore barrel into a tack driver.

Pretty sure the fine print at the Knoxx site says NOT to use aftermarket safeties, including Wilson. The shock absorber moves, and would hit the safety.

I have the Vang Big Dome safety, and really like it.

Brightflashlights at AR15.com has great deals on the Surefire forearms. Must have.

Blueforce Gear has a Burnsed Loop for 870's for a single poing sling. IMO, a sling is mandatory on a long gun.

A buddy had Vang work his magic, and it is impressive. I *need* to have it done, too.
