Yeah, I am kicking myself, Sportmans Guide had it for around a $100 bucks a thousand rounds, I lulled myself into a false sense of security as the local Gander Mountain had shelves of wolf for $2.50 a box of twenty. Lots of rounds, I'll just grab'em as I need them.
Well I went to go grab some to shoot and they were all gone. I went to Sportsman Guide and it had gone up about $20 bucks a thousand. So I just put 2000 rounds on back order. I swore I would never be one of those guys and post about this but it kind of sucks. So here we have another 7.62x39 ammo gripe. I bought an SKS instead of a AR because it was so much cheaper to shoot. Was the key word. I guess I saved about 800 in cash for the rifle though. Lots of ammo for that price.
