One thing for sure, nobody complains about the WP suspension kits that go on the KTMs.
Actually, it cost me about $800 in revalves to get my KTM's WP's working right. The stock suspension was the only thing I liked better about my last Yamaha.
I've heard WP makes great off-road suspensions. But taking a look at what the pro road racers are using, it's almost universally Öhlins, with a few Penskes here and there.
Personally, I'm stickin' with Öhlins.

Everyone that rides competitievly gets their suspension customized. KTMs cost 2-3X more then the Nippercycles. 2005 was the first year that KTM off road bikes were considered to have acceptable suspension as new. Everyone still gets a respring/revalve.
