Mossberg 500A barrel swap?

I just put a down payment on a Mossberg 500A.It has the fullsize barrel and stock but I want to buy an 18" barrel to put on it and then change the stock to a pistol grip.I have been looking for replacement barrels but all I can find are ones for Mossberg 500.Are these the same?And also I havnt been able to find replacement barrels.Anyone know of a good website?

If it's a 12ga then get a barrel for 12ga. If it's 20ga then get a 20ga.

Wouldn't it be cheaper jsut to buy what you really want. A 500 Pursuader usually sells for $250ish with everything you want.
