View Full Version : Deal from AIM? Anywhere else?
http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Yugoslavian_AK_M70AB2_7.62x39_Under-Folder_Rifle.html
I don't have the money yet, but this is what I would really like to buy. I want an underfolder and I figure it would be better to just buy one with it already on there.
However, since its out of stock, is there anywhere else that I can get one from? They might have them back in by the time I get the money but I'm thinking hypothetically... I'm within driving range of AIM so I'll get it there if I can.
Thanks.
AJ
That is a good deal. The few places I have seen this rifle are quite a bit more expensive and are out of stock. If I were you I would pre-order one and hang tight. Or if the AK bug starts to bite too badly, check this place out www.atlanticfirearms.com.

I believe SOG has the yugo underfolder also, even cheaper, only $395.

Thanks guys... it'll be a month or so before I get the money... like I said I was hoping to get it from AIM, but I'm glad to have a back up plan. Might be able to save some money now...
Thanks!
They don't have 7.63x39 though... why is this so hard to find right now?
Also, forgot to ask...
With an underfolder can you fold it down with a magazine inserted? It looks like you might be able to but I can't tell with the picture.

AIM say's that they have new US barrels. Does SOG have the same?

Yes, but barrels are not chrome lined. I've been looking at both as well. AIM sold out very quickley but they advertise on AK-47.net
SOG's have been there for months. They were removed from the front page for some reason. I looked up DCI (who built them) and found Dan Coonan Ind.
I don't know why those are not selling. I'd be interested in any answers as well.

Seems all wholesalers have upped their prices in the face of demand.
AIM is now $429. Online auctions at about $600.
SOG still lists the M70 on their website for $395 but will not accept backorders at that price. I was told that only orders placed before 1 March will be honored at that price. Called SOG again yesterday and was told they have 285 on back order with a total of 3,500 on order from CAI. No delivery date.
