I've been accepted to UNLV Law school with pretty much a full ride. I was wondering how many/what quality the track facilitie nearby are? I know of Las Vegas Speedway, but that about it in the immediate vicinty. Where do all you NV bikers do your trackdays?

There's also a joint called Pahrump in Nevada that quite a few SoCal riders go to, so it can't be too far from Vegas.

Found it! Thanks for the tip, it's only about 1.5 hrs out of Vegas.

Is it wrong or weird that one of my major criteria for choosing a school is the availability of track time & twisties in the area?

And yet you chose Vegas? Yeah the mountains are nice, but the city is horrible, and very dangerous.

Not yet. It's one of the schools I'm considering, though. Kinda hard to pass up a full ride scholarship, but I've got a few other offers on the table.
