flash hider?

I recentaly bought a polish ak from atlantic and would like it even more if it had a flash hider.
can i just instal this myself? if so where can i buy one?

any 14x1 LH threaded flash hider would fit but the best in the world is the Smith-Sommers Vortex.It reduces flash signature enough for use with night vision.

BTW, that convinced me to put the birdcage on my build...how controllable is the gun without the brake...only thing i've ever uses is my arsenal with the brake.

That I can't really answer because I've only fired about 30rds through an AK with a muzzle brake, and all of them were bumpfired. Recoil and muzzle jump dont seem too bad though.
