Mossberg 500 20g transformation

My project shotgun started life as a field grade Mossberg 500 20g from a local pawn shop:

I added the following to make my HD and 3 gun competition shotgun:

-Advanced Technology pistol grip buttstock
-Tacstar 6 shell side saddle
-Pachmayr forend

and it transformed into my EBS (evil black shotgun)

Very nice.I recently purchased a mossberg 500A 12gauge from a pawn shop and have the same plans for it.I got it for dirt cheap.I plan on buying an 18.5" barrel,same stock and shell holder as you as well as the matching forend.I also want to put the heat shield on the barrel as well.Cant wait till it's all done so I can have an evil black shotgun of my own.

Nice job, how hard was the forend to put on? I've added a Tacstar 4 shell side saddle, and a 18.5" barrel to mine but need a new forend to fully rack the shotgun (Youth Model Forend).

The Pachmayr forend was very easy to install, once you get the threaded ring that holds on the current one started. Here is a pic of me with it at the range:

Ha ha ha :cool:

No, it is an AR sling that I adapted for the shotgun. The problem is that the points on shotgun are a little further apart than the AR. And "red" helps me make sure I don't try and install it on my AR. :)

Well,that clears up that confusion.LOL. I was looking at dog collars at the dollar store thinking they might be a cheap source for nylon strapping and buckles/fittings for some do-it-yourself projects and thought you might have been thinking the same when I saw that sling!tom. :laughabove:

P.S. Also like the 20 Ga configuration.Been thinking of one like it myself.tom.;)
