I bought mine in the mid 1980's for $200, and it ran! Guy in Indy owned it, and needed money. This one was a buzz saw. It also had a habit of having the carb slides hang up on occasion. It had a dual carb set up,
I always enjoyed riding it down to the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the AMA dirt track races. Most guys down there appreciated it for what it was.
I owned it several years, then sold it for about $1000. I found out later a dealer I knew was buying up old British Motorcycles, and shipping them back to the UK. He told me he could have gotten me $2000 for it. Oh well.
Mine was alot like the one pictured, except my mufflers were more stock looking then these. Mine also had one of those awful fiberglass fuel tanks-I still have it-I replaced it with a chrome one like you see in this photo.

I love the old Brit bikes. Have you seen this yet?

I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the Norton Commando 952.

Commando 952, KTM SuperDuke, Moto Morini Corsaro, KTM 990 Adventure...so many bikes, not enough money.:crying:
