I was reading over the IDPA rule book and was wondering if anyone can answer this question.
On page 20, concerning the Stock Service Pistol Division, under permitted modifications #8 it says Custom finishes may be applied. Then under excluded modifications #1 it says externally visible modifications other than grips or sights.
This seems to be a contradiction and I was wondering if a stock Glock barrel that has been polished to remove the black finish would fall under permitted modifications (#8) or excluded modifications (#1).
Any help on this would be appreciated.
