Cost of adding an 870 mag extension?

Any idea as to what it might cost to have a gunsmith add an extended mag tube on an 870 Police model?

Just buy the extension and install yourself. Takes about 2 minutes. It just screws on. Check online and find an extension. :)

I have a Wilson Combat (http://www.wilsoncombat.com/sa_mag_extensions.asp) extension on my 870. Not real cheap, but built like a tank and the US Secret Service uses them.

Whatever brand you buy, get a clamp. It does not matter how strong the extension is, the mag tube is thin, especially at the threads. It is easy to knock a non-clamped extension off an 870. If you're lucky, you'll only launch the extension and whatever's in the mag. If not, you could damage the mag tube end enough to force a trip to the smith/factory.
It is very easy to add an extension. Just get a clamp. Trust me.
