CZ 550 Medium in 7mm

:cool:I like 270's, but they don't have them in this platform. I know that 7mm is close to the 270 in trajectory and prformance. I like CZ's. I already have a 527 7.62x39 Carbine, and it is super accurate. Question is: Ammo price between 270 & 7mm. is there much differance? If I get the 7mm will I like that round over the 270? I Know, I need to try it and see! Any info, or expirence with the 7mm would be appeciated. Thanks! BTW, I do love those single set triggers on the CZ's! I'm leaning real heavy towards getting it. If I do, it will be my long range, Medium Game rifle. Have fun & stay safe!:supergrin:

Do you not want a CZ550 American/Lux in .270 Winchester?

I own a CZ550 in .270 Winchester. I also own a Tikka in 7mm Remington Magnum. Both of the rifles handle the same and shoot the same. Both cartridges will kill the same game. The 7mm is a little more powerful but not enough to really make a difference. Ammunition cost(for the ammunition that I buy) for the .270 is $12-$25. Ammunition cost for the 7mm is $20-$30.
