Local Wal Mart had New England Firearms brand single shot shotguns for $94.52 + tax.
Anyone have experience with these?
How do the hold up?
Any disadvantages other than being single shot?
Seems they would have a lot of potential.
Thinking of getting two, one to keep original for hunting, one to shorten the barrel to 18 1/2 inches.
These guns seem to be well made and have a attractive case colored finish on the receivers.
Choices are 12,20, or 410 gauge.
I would likely get the 12 gauge models.

NEF has a pretty good rep for making a cost effective firearm.

My only question is what if you miss with the first shot?

Sounds like a good deal though.

Not sure about the tactical application, but they are great to take kids squirrel hunting with.

Let me tell you one thing, the 12ga kicks like hell with slugs in it. I have a H&R 12ga slug gun 3" chamber(H&R and NEF have similar shotguns to me) and it will almost knock you on you ass with 3" shells.
