What brand?

Since I'm pretty new to the tactical shotgun, what brands are recommended for mag extentions for an 870P? Any brand to steer clear of? Thanks.

I suggest factory Remington extensions. They cost more but are worth it. I tried a Choate once and had problems with the mag spring.

I've used various-length Tac-Star extensions. They are very well made, very reliable, and made from heavier-gauge material than others I've seen, like Choate.

They also have a clever ball-and-spring detent system to hold them in place, and keep them from slowly unscrewing like other makes sometimes can under heavy recoil.
