View Full Version : Remington 870 MCS for HD?

I think the "High-Capacity Conventional Weapon" variant of the Remington Military MCS (Modular Combat Shotgun) would make the ideal HD 870.

No, Remington will NOT sell one to civilians, nor did they even respond to my inquiry, but other than the MIL STD 1913 "Picatinny" scope mount rail and forend rail mounts, one could be made from available aftermarket parts.

Anyone know where I can get a scope mount rail like this mounted? How about that neat little Picatinny forend-rail/barrel-and-mag-extension brace?

(I'd ditch that barrel-mounted rifle-style rear sight, and go for a removable ghost-ring rear sight mounted on the Picatinny scope rail, which could be swapped out for something like an EoTech EO sight when desired.)

Add some slugs and some Remington Tac-8 00 buckshot, and one would be all set.
