View Full Version : AK Trigger Moved?
I'm looking for a truck gun and a friend told me of an AK47 for sale with a plastic sporter stock. He also told me that when the stock was installed they had to move the trigger assembly to make it fit? Is this possible? As you can see this is my first AK post, I know nothing about them other than their reputation for working when you need them to.
Thanks,
John

Yes.
You have a Saiga that's been converted to military specifications. Originally these had a different rear end and buttstock, a restriction plate over the trigger hole, a trigger guard mounted to the rear, and a trigger contraption mounted through the pistol grip mounting hole.
If the conversion has been done professionally, and properly ( not by Bubba in his garage using a Dremel tool and screws ) you have a hell of an AK. Much better quality receiver than the current WASR's.
Thanks Graveman, PM sent. Also, again I know zero about AK's, I have searched the web for info on the Saiga AK's and only come up with info on shotguns?
