Just like the title says I did a little trading and got these, I used to be big into R.C. planes. Lots of fun lots of work also.
Anyway I traded some of my stuff for a 1936 Hex 91/30 and a 1948 M44 and 140 rounds of ammo. My question is, what next? I know I need to shoot them, but he said the 44 is a little bit more accurate than the 91/30. The stock on the 91/30 is fairly nice, and with a little TLC it could look better. The M44 is pretty beat up as far as the stock goes, but the metal on both is fairly good.
Do I clean them up and refinish them or just leave them as is and shoot them. The numbers don't match but the headspace is good and the guy I traded them for said he never had any problems with them. He did say recoil on the longer one can be a little brutal and the M44 is a little better to shoot and makes a lot more BANG but less recoil.
