I've got a Romanian SAR1 that is NIB and has never been fired, now there's a problem with it.
I just got a Tapco G2 FCG and retainer plate to replace the existing FCG. After I put the new FCG in, the hammer wouldn't "cock", meaning that the disconnecter and trigger weren't engaging the hammer.
I figured it was a problem with the FCG and tried each FCG part individually with the original FCG, that didn't solve the problem. So I just put the old trigger kit in and the problem still persists.
The trigger and disconnector are not engaging the hammer at all. Working the bolt won't make the hammer engage and trying to do it manually by hand won't make the hammer engage.
Any advice or tips? Since this happend with two different FCG's, the Tapco G2 and the original FCG, I'm wondering if it's not a reciever problem.
