hello my cz friend,
my new cz-75bd mags don't drop free do all cz75's do this?will it brake in time?i have not shot it yet maybe i will get to the range on monday.also when i was cleaning it i see it dose not have a full size guide rod.it has a 1/2 size polymer guide rod.can you uprgade to a full size?maybe in steel or something better then polymer?i must say i was shocked to see a polymer rod in a cz.i through glock was the only one to have a polymer guide rod
thanks my fellow cz,friends.
My dad just had this happen. What it is is the metal mag break in the grip. Field strip your gun, take off the grips, and then you will see the flat piece of metal that the mag drags on, it has a slight bend in it that protrudes into the mag. You have to take it out and ever so gently bend it straight with needle nose pliers. It has 2 screws, high and low. Take care though not to break it when doing this. Once flat reinstall it, and stick a mag in there, it should now fall freely.

If you really must have a metal guide rod you can find one at Jackash Custom (http://www.jackashcustom.com). I believe, however that a steel guide rod will still be the short length you have in the pistol. To use a full length rod will require a hole be drilled in the dust shield, under the barrel.
Good shooting,
Mike

hello my cz friends,
i just got off the phone with cz-usa,about my magasines not droping free from my cz-75bd.they tolled me that the way the gun is made.now the good news, they make a flat magazine brake so that the mags drop free.you don't have to bend the one in the gun,if you don't want to,just order a new flat magazine brake it's less then $10 so mine is on the way.this makes me happy.:) :) :)
