Anyone else here shooting in the South Carolina State IDPA Match in Anderson at the end of the month? I figgered that it would be a relatively safe place to meet other GT'ers in person, seeing as how they run a cold range an' all...
(also posted in GG)
I'll be there.....so will about 10 or 15 other guys from our club in Oxford.
I'm looking forward to it.

Count me in as part of the Oxford crowd. Made my motel reservation today.
The bad news is that we're moving our office on Friday and I'm the IT manager. My idiot boss, who doesn't surf here, actually gave me that day as a vacation day weeks ago and still hasn't figured it out.
I figure if there are phone and internet access by noon, I'm out of there. I'm prepared to drive into the night if need be.
I'll be there with others from the Oxford range.
I will be there running a stage. Looking forward to the match. First big match of the year for me.

I promise I'll bring my pistol with me. :laughabove:
There will be a decent number of folks from GA there. We'll be SO'ing a stage as well. Planning on camping at the KOA if anyone wants to drop by for a cold one on Friday or Saturday night.

Is there any information available on this match? I can download an application from the IDPA Match section but it does not really provide any information such as how many stages each day. How many Rounds?Where is the location of the banquet or does all that info come to you after you register.

I can't remember how I found out all the info, but it will be 14 stages, shot Saturday and Sunday. Figure to bring 250 rounds to any major just to be safe.
HERE (http://www.skipjrange.com/) is the actual site for the Skip J Range. Maybe you can drop Skip a line or e-mail him for morre info.
Hope you can make it.

Woohoo, we had phones and internet access as of 6:00 PM today. Looks like I'll be headed south tomorrow.
