I saw this thread in cop talk and thought I would post it in here too as it was an EMT and FF that also came to the aid of the CHP officer. We also got props from the police.

I've come close to fighting on duty. The dude was huge, but not as big as one of my partners whom we call "Eclipse". As soon as Eclipse stepped between us the situation calmed.
