I just found that Tacstar has begin production and shipment of thier +2 mag extension for the nova and supernova.

With the feds messing with benelli and making it tough for them to bring in thier extension, this will work in its stead.

I just got one for about 50 bucks on ebay. Also spoke with the guy whos selling em. He sounded knowledgeable and was very friendly. Here is his info for those interested.

http://stores.ebay.com/Lippman-Enterprises-Ltd the guys name is Bob.

do you know how the quality compares to the benelli
extensions?

Nope, but once I put it on and go shoot I will let you know how it worked. If my last round jams or anything like that I will be mighty pissed and will then go spend the 110 on a benelli from ebay, which is the only place to find em these days.

Please keep us posted. If these are a pretty good product I'll likely plunk down the cash for one. I simply don't think enough of a +2 to spend $100 on one...but $50 I'll do.

Yeah , I was gonna save for the benelli one, I really need a +2 because I want to put a rail system on my shotty that can have a light that will work with both my glock 23 and the nova. That rail system is designed to clamp onto the +2 extension of the shotty you would be putting it on.

I hope my wife get me that surefire light for my birthday Hint Hint HINT SUPER SHORTY HINT

My Nova had the +2 when I bought it from a cat here on GT. I just installed the mercury recoil reducer and Meprolight Night Sights. I haven't shot it yet though :frown: I think the mods are going to be great.

I dont know if it is legal to buy firearms from cats, in the US. I don't even think DOGS can get an FFL, let alone a damn cat!!!!

Its a TacStar. Do you really need to ask. It iwll be one step above a piece of PVC and a BIC ink pen spring.

TacStar Magazine Extensions are machined from chrome moly steel tubing and parkerized, I'll let you guys know how it works out, my tac star side saddle is awsome.

I plan to add the mercury recoil reducer as well.

Forensik,

Thanks a lot for the heads up. I ordered one and can't wait to get it. I was getting really pissed off that I couldn't find an extension for my Nova. Now, maybe I have a chance against the guys with the 10 +1 auto-loading shotguns at our monthly 3-gun matches.

regards,

Luis Leon

I have yet to take pics or fire the gun, and I still plan on getting the barrell clamp, (though it says you dont need one, I will be putting one on).

But the extension came and it fit prefectly, and felt very solid and the fit was quite snug, not loose at all. It cycles the shells in and out with no problem.

It really makes the gun look a lot sharper too.

Now All I need is the pitcany rail on the extension tube and a light and my "Uber Tacticool Anti-Zombie Device" will be finished. It will probably act as a home defense weapon untill the coming zombie apocalypse.

Got mine today from Bob Lippman at Lippman Enterprises. Its made of chromoly steel and looks great on the Nova. Attaching it took all of 2 minutes, mounts really solid. The best part is that it really is a plus 3 extension, now instead of 4 +1, I have 7 +1

I took the Nova to my club and fired off a box of #6 shells, 5, 00 buckshot rounds, and 5 slugs. Not one hiccup with the new extension. It defintely is quite a step above PVC as for the bic pen spring, oh well.

I bought my nova a couple years ago, bought and installed a tube extention and side saddle from Bob this past week. Both work just fine, 7+1 in the gun (18.5" barrel) 4 on the side saddle and 5 on the stock sock. All the shells add up to my "lead recoil reducer".
