View Full Version : Can a Glock 29 actually be beautiful looking?
nah...but definitely beautiful to shoot!
As some of you know, I'm mostly a Colt 1911 and S&W revolver lover, but after getting a Delta Elite and a Razorback, I've come to really love 10mm and I just had to have a Glock 29 too! Tonight I got a chance to make some images of my new (first) Glock.... and I gotta say that I reeaaally like this pistol! It's become quite a favorite of mine. Of course 10mm is now my favorite caliber right along with .45 acp! Ten is becoming more popular these days and for very good reason - it rocks!

Hey DHart,
I want tell the guys on the S&W Forum you hang out here, if you want tell them I do too!
I just got back from the range and shooting my G20. I'll never give up my G17 with Meprolights for carry, but dang I LOVE my G20!

Nice shots DHart, I remember when mine used to look like that but after a couple years of daily carry the outside is looking a tad ruff although the inside is perfect. What set up do you use for your photos, I am thinking existing light with a couple of strategically placed white bounce cards???
Roneye... I change up my lighting and settings all the time... sometimes available window light, sometimes incandescent room light, sometimes overcast outdoors, sometimes in my camera room with softbox(es) and reflectors. In this case an overhead softbox strip with a couple of reflectors... and actually, with these shots, I lit various parts of the gun individually in different exposures and then combined the different parts of the gun from different pictures into the main image to achieve the desired lighting effect on each and every curve and place on the gun. A lot of work, but then again, that's how I earn my living.

LMAO !! Leave it to you,Dhart to "sex up" a Glock! After perusing your other subjects it was only a matter of time until you got around to plastic porn,LOL.(aka MEJETSKI2000)here.Perhaps you should contact Gaston and negotiate a PR contract...I do kinda like the underwear model posters, but they're nothing I can put in house per spousal agreement.Once again, art surpasses reality.Nice work!
hey mejetski... nice to see you (father time). Thanks for appreciating the "plastic beauty!" ;)
