Beretta 950BS

Was out in yard shooting yesterday with my 11 year old daugther...... We were useing my MKII Ruger at approx 15' She was hitting target but really not doing well sort of shot gun. Just for kicks I gave her my 950BS. I carry now and then as a bug. She put 4 in bull rest just out side. I went in house got a box of 25 and we finished day with the Beretta . She has now decided this is her pistol. It fits her hand. Ruger with long heavy barrel just not comfortable for her. See 25auto has a place. No I won't go over to the 21 I have never liked it I'll keep her on the 950 for time being. She has shot my 1911 and PPK/S but didn't care for the recoil . I can afford a box or 2 of 25 if this makes her happy.

Kind of a funny story - a while ago, I was getting guns out of the safe, getting ready for a shooting trip, and my 3-year old daughter was sitting on the bed, watching me.
As I pulled out each gun, she would remark on its size, and ask whether it was a "daddy" gun, "mommy" gun, or "baby" gun.
When I pulled out the Bobcat, I turned and put it in her hand, and her eyes got real big and she smiled and asked, "This one for me?"

I started all my girls (4) out with BB guns for their 6th birthday for 2 reasons. 1 they were old enough to start teaching. and 2. just to piss my anti gun sister off.

I've got one of these that ends up in my pocket now and then. It's a good little gun.

Have a Mec-Gar eight-round mag for it as a spare. Works just as well as the factory magazine.
