View Full Version : laser and nite site
if you have a laser on your glock do you really need the nite site? or is it best to have both or one or the other??

i think you can agree with 'the more the marrier'. just think, night sights dont have working components. lasers do. what if in the dark of night your battery dies or fails, or the entire laser unit all together fails? you still would have better odds of a good shot with night sights as a secondary (if you're really worried about it). but how bad to want that shot if you really need it? if it's your life or theirs, or at worst your families?
lol I dont think my luck is that bad!

I have night sights on all my Glocks and recommend them highly. As an added bonus you hand will find the grip of your gun easily when it is on the night stand.
IMO, night sights are a must if you are going to use the gun for anything other than a target gun. :)

maybe not now, but luck wouldn't be on your side if you were put in that situation to draw in defense...
skill would determine the outcome of that..
but if you wouldn't mind, rub some of that luck over here...our Lotto is up to $32mil. now and that would be nice...

The two best lasers IMO are the Lasermax internal laser and Crimson Trace laser grips. I would do a google search to find the cheapest place to buy and also keep an eye out in the want ads here, they tend to come up from time to time and you can usually find a good deal.

This is my list of priorities for a CCW/HD handgun:
Night Sights
Weapon mounted light
Handheld light
Laser
C4
+1 - lights should come before laser, you have to be able to identify what you're shooting.
