I was hoping one of you would be able to give me some options on a sling for the old mossberg. I keep a short home defense barrel on it and I would like to be able hang it from some type of sling when I need to use my hands.

At work I have been using a Wilderness sling that the PD supplies and I am not all that thrilled with it. Mostly because I am more ambidexterous than most and it is hard to switch sides with three point slings.

I thought of using a single point sling until an instructor pointed out the time he took an AR-15 magazine in the nuts when he transitioned. The Wilderness has one that can be adapted to the traditional two point sling.

I recently tried a sling from Viking Tactical that a coworker had put on his SWAT gun. It was a traditional two point sling but it ajusts quickly enough you can switch sides easy enough. The three point slings are such a pain to adjust. This one you just yank on one end to tighten and then pull a cord on a clamp to loosen.

Look at it this way even if the one you buy doesn't work for you it can be sold here or on eBay.
