View Full Version : My new CZ75B-SA and range report
I took it the range for a good testing, I had a megabox of 250 Remington UMC 115 gr. to run through it to test function and accuracy, I shot about 100 rds. to get the gun broken in some then I set up a little sandbag to rest my hands on and proceded to shoot this target with 20 rds., I'm not really a good shooter but I thought this was pretty good, it doesn't really look like I shot 20 rds. at this target but about 10 of them must have went into the same big hole on the upper right of the bullseye ,I ended up with a 2 1/4" pattern at 25ft., is that typical of CZ's? The sights looked dead on, overall I'm impressed with the gun and it feels really good in my hand. I also shot 20 rds of Winchester Ranger 124gr. +p ammo and it ran fine too.

That looks good to me. I have a 75B and a gunsmith buddy of mine took it to one of his friends that had a rest that locked the gun in to test accuracy. It nearly key holed 15 rds. It is more accurate than I will ever be.

Cuda:
How does the single action trigger feel ?
Chuck
It feels just like the double action version of the pistol when using them in single action mode, it's not real great, nothing like a good 1911 trigger, but better than most DA/SA pistols I have tried, it has lots of creep where you can feel the sear sliding on the hammer hook, I'd say you can move the trigger 1/8" after taking up slack untill the hammer falls, it also pulls the hammer back slightly just before it releases, but I think the this can be greatly improved with a good trigger job. The good thing is the stock trigger is metal and has an adjustable overtravel stop, but it seems properly adjusted from the factory.

Man I gotta get mine out to the range. I have had a CZ75-SA since around last November and have never shot it, maybe this weekend.
