Sight in with a Lazer Site

Hi,
I have a G-20 and put a lazermax on it. I have a question on sighting in now. At what distance should I sight in too? Do I match the adjustable sights on the weapon with the lazer at a given distance? Any help would be appreciated!!

I generally zero my visible laser for around 15yds-25yds as that is the farthest I can see a red laser in full sun.

I have my M6 zero'd at 7yds. Most shootings take place between 15 and 20 feet anyway.

I only rely on my Laser as a back up, there is nothing like good old irons on a duty pistol.
