Well, they don't have it just yet... but at least we can be pretty sure they WILL be getting more soon! :)
And I just picked up a case of Wolf HP. I guess I'll have to shoot it up next weekend.
"But honey, I am all out of ammo! And it's been really scarce lately, and I think we need another 3 cases... Didn't I tell you they have 1K round each? Why are you surprised?"
...any good. Shot alot of the Silver bear thru my Mak but none through my WASR. Will try some if the price is right.
As an aside - I wonder if late April - Mid May is when the Ak ammo drought will start to ease?

Brown bear is made by the same co. as Silver Bear but it has the lacquer coating like the old Wolf used to. Polymer coating is probably better, but I never had issues with the lacquer stuff so it doesn't bother me. Plus, I think Bear ammo is just better quality and it tends to be more accurate.
The only gun related injury I've ever sustained was at the hands of Brown Bear ammo. The staple holding the brown paper together inside the box gouged the living hell out of my thumb!
The ammo went bang and made holes in the target, though.
(I know, I know- staples don't gouge thumbs, bumbling idiots gouge thumbs...)
Brown Bear is made by Barnaul, tends to be loaded hotter than Wolf, more accurate tahn Wolf. Silver Bear (also mostly Barnaul) has water solubale coating, Brown Bear does not. Awhile back GT had a post/link to someone's test. Different ammo was soaked in water, chronoed, and then shot. BB was one of the best.
