What a yawner! same size gun and weight has my '20 but wimpy feeling. I had been thinking of getting a .45 upper for my 20 but after tonight i think i'll pass.
I like shooting the 21. Little or no recoil means
superior sight acquisition for double taps.
Nice change of pace for me from my beloved 10mm

I have shot several G21's and I actually like them. I would not trade my G20 for one, but they are nice shooters.
One was bone stock with right out of the box and it was every bit Glock reliable. Another had the lighter trigger and a nice set of sights, as accurate as I could ask. Still another had a custom grip reduction, though I do like the full sized grip still.
The G21 is a good platform that tames the .45 ACP "almost too much". It takes a moment to realize you are throwing a large chunk of copper and lead as the recoil is as light as that of a G17 IMO. You have not lost any of the rounds potency, just lessened the required interaction to utilize it.

I use my G21 for those nuclear handloads that I don't want to put in my 1911s, and for hunting and concealed carry. Great pistol. Remember that add Glock had when the G21 came out? It had the doughboy standing there with one in his hand and said "This ain't your daddy's .45."
Also, you can't feed a G20 factory ammo at $10/50 rounds.
