Loctite blue for front sight

I just replaced the factory front sight a metal scew anchored one. I used the Blue Loctite because it is suppose to be removable. I did so in the event I replace it with night sights later down the road. Will blue hold up? Or should I have used the more permanent Loctite Red?

Blue should be fine..and is the most commonly used.
