Like the title says I'm embarassed to even ask such a stupid question but oh well. So I have trijicons on my 21 have been wondering is the bullet supposed to impact just above the front sight or exactly behind the dot?

The bullet is susposed to impact at the top of the front sight not behind it. However, this simply will not happen at every distance that you shoot.

Thanks for clearing that up, I really don't shoot past 25 yards but have been trying to get my skills up.
