I read "Brazilin Adventure" and am reading "Man Hunting In The Jungle". Both are older books ( late 20's and early 30's ) on the search for the explorer, Col. Fawcett who went missing in 1925.
Anyone know of any other books on jungle exploration in the early 20th century?
Teddy Roosevelt wrote one called "Through the Brazilian Wilderness." Never read it but supposed to be a classic among adventure books. It covers the discovery/navigation of a tributary of the Amazon. They hunted animals, and people died, and fought rapids.
I'm reading Brazilian Adventure now and will probably read this one afterwards.

Thanks for the info but read that one already.
There might be some Brazilian adventure books in this list. It's pretty long and contains classics as well as contempory.
