I just picked a used Remington 870 in excellent condition...I was just wondering what sight options are available besides the dark silver front bead ?? Does it come off ?? Should I paint it ?? Thanks...
Here it is pictured with my new RRA Entry Tac...

I've got those exact two weapons.
I've still got the bead sight on my 870. I did add a side saddle, Blackhawk sling and a pistol grip stock.
Are those railed handguards on your RRA composite? If so, do you like them?

ghstface38,
The rail system is the Surefire M73...It looks like composite because I have the rubber rail covers on them...Those rails are real sharp...:)

I put one of the XS Sights Big Dot Tritium on mine.It epoxies over the the bead with J-B Weld.Makes it easier to pick than the bead.I really like it.Scroll down the page and it's on the right. They cost $60.
I would strongly recommend you replace the front bead sight with a good set of ghost ring sights. I like the Trijicon Trak-Loc ghost rings that can be purchased with tritium insterts in the front and rear.
