Ares GSR-35 Black Lightning

Has anyone seen this? It is a retro-fit kit that replaces the gas tube with a modified bolt and gas rod impingement system. Looks promising, but with as much trouble as they had getting the Shrike out the door, I'm not holding my breath. The concept sounds like a winner though. At $400 per unit, it better work like a champ.

No one has seen it. It's vaporware. Given Ares' production schedule expect to see them sometime around 3010.

there was a guy on silencer forums that had one. don't know if the video is still up, also has him testing the belt fed upper.

It's neat, but with all the companies coming out with piston driven uppers, your better off going with pof, colt, or maybe when pigs fly, HK
