Mine also has the OD grips and I think it looks cool. I pizz and moan about my G20, but it's also the one handgun that I spend the most money on.

Congrats on your new purchase. I got one about a week ago, and I'm in love with it.

It's an awesome pistol! As far as the wife goes you could try the "it's my LAST one, I promise" routine. So far it's worked for me for the last 5 buys!

**The way I justified my G20 was saying that by LAST I meant rifle LOL. Then I had to tell her the G20 was the LAST but I failed to mention that it would be the LAST full size. G29 coming soon! :rollsmiley:

My G20 has the OD lower. I love it. I got a good deal on it. The gunshop had it for over a year because nobody wanted to buy it. I guess it was too gay looking for the guys.
Their loss, my gain.
I have a Storm Lake 10mm barrel and a EFK .40 S&W barrel coming in for it.

Dont reload yet but I plan on getting started ASAP. I cant wait to put a couple of hundred rds downrange !;)
Just picked it up. This is also my first in an OD Green Frame . I really like the color its kind of a cross between OD and coyote.
I'm gonna shoot this baby on Monday !
Now you need it's little brother to go with it!

Put 100 rds of Federal 190 JHP w/o a problem . Very smooth , felt just like a .40.
Now I just got in some fresh DoubleTap 165 GDHP , that should pack a nice punch.;)
Correct answer: What gun?

Update : just shot the G20 with Doubletap 165 gr Gold Dot. Its interesting because I've seen soo many people here ask about felt recoil and muzzle flip with many different responses.
As has been stated before felt recoil is somewhat subjective but there are some differences that are easy to distinguish from one type to another.
That said I went to the line with an open mind , I am not recoil sensitive and have been shooting my entire life. I'm also been a full time firearms instructor for the last 12 years.
The G20's recoil using standard factory ammo is moderate , very similar to what a .40 caliber Glock feels like.
The G20 with the 165 gr. Doubletap has about twice the felt recoil and about similar muzzle flip. I would never characterize the recoil as "nothing" it feels like a a magnum round plain and simple.
Is it controllable ? yes very much so , I was able to fire very quick doubletaps and hit centermass . Those who are considering a move to the 10mm should understand that its a round which simply requires practice to get comfortable with and proficient with.
That said I now understand why the 10 mm has a fanatical following ,the cartridge exudes power . I can imagine the effect it may have on a perpetrator trying to do you harm. This round has the ability to stop the fight cold.
Now I have to figure out how I'm gonna get more DT !
you guys do it wrong, get the gun and some jewlery at the same time, problem solved [unless she wants the gun!!!!!!!!!!!! lol]
